Who we are

Happy Paws is a dog-walking service in Stellenbosch, South Africa. We are the responsible party for personal information collected through this website, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you request a walk we collect your name, WhatsApp number, your area, your dog’s name and any notes you choose to give us. We do not collect payment details on this website.

Why we use it

Only to arrange and confirm walks, send you walk updates and reply to your messages. We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

Trusted service providers that help us run bookings (website hosting, a secure database, email and WhatsApp). They may only use your information to provide that service to us.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we measure visits, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that do not identify you.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to its use, by messaging us on WhatsApp. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

How long we keep it

For as long as you use our walks, and then no longer than needed for our records.
